will be bring a modest station with him which will include modest
power (100 W), modest antennas (5 elements on 5 meter boom) and a
6 meter attended beacon. He is willing to work with DX

July, 1997). All bureau and direct requests have already
been answered, but if somebody still needs a QSL please
send direct to Alex's home address at: Alex Pastchenko,
P.O. Box 104, St.Petersburg, 192241 Russia (Please SASE).
OPDX received a message from Dave, 5H3US (K8MN),
indicating that his QSL Manager Ken, WA8JOC, will respond
to bureau cards! Dave states, "We've always done so.
Bureau cards are not handled very expeditiously since the
sender would certainly QSL direct if the card was very
important to him." By the way, Ken, WA8JOC, has
announced this week that he ONLY handles the QSL chores
for 5H3US and no other 5H station.
8Q7IO, 8Q7IQ and 8Q7VK QSLs. Fritz, DL7VRO, reports that
all USA inquiries for the 8Q7 stations, direct and
E-mails, have been answered. However, QSL cards for 8Q7VK
have not yet be answered since the logbook has not been
received. If you have any questions, they can be answered
via Fritz's E-mail address at: dl7vro@ibm.net
QSLs for 3D2TC should be QSLed to Craig Thompson, 50
Beach Road, Suva Point, Suva, Fiji Islands.
OPDX has been informed that Jackie Calvo, F2CW/ZL3CW is
back in New Zealand. He has a huge laundry basket full of
E31AA QSL requests, but is currently awaiting his E31AA
cards from the printer. He hopes to have the cards in
hand by the end of this month. He made 25000 QSOs, with a
defective (improperly modified) TS-50, running only 10
watts! He is receiving about 20-30 E-mails a day, most
asking for his post address, but some are already asking,
"Where's my card?!" Have patience people - more
E-mail and other queries just slow things down. NO SECOND
REQUESTS NEEDED. QSL via ZL3CW.
Well-known QSL Manager Joe, W3HNK, wants it to be known
that he is NOT the QSL Manager for JD1AMA.
