VIETNAM, 3W. Coly, 3W2FM has been QRV on 80 meters CW around 1100z.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF EAST TIMOR, 4W. Dan, VK8AN is QRV from Dili as 4W6AN until the end of December. Activity is on 40 to 10 meters. QSL via VK4AAR.

UGANDA, 5X. 5X1Z has been QRV on 20 meters between 2000 and 2100z. QSL via SM6CAS.

GHANA, 9G. Werner, 9G1UW has been QRV using RTTY on 20 meters around 2200z. QSL via DL8UP.

SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Lee, DS4CNB is QRV as D88S until November 30, 2003 while working at the South Korean research base King Se-Jong on King George Island, IOTA AN-010. QSL to home call.

KYRGYZSTAN, EX. Serge, EX8MLE is usually QRV on 30 meters between 0200 and 0300z. Meanwhile, Paul, EX8NP has been QRV on 80 meters from 1400 to 1500z. QSL via IK2QPR.

ST. PIERRE AND MIQUELON, FP. Jean, FP5BZ has been QRV on 17 meters around 1700z. QSL via F5TJP.

HAWAII, KH6. W1HH/KH6 is QRV until December 31. This is a QRP operation, with activity 5 kHz up from the band edges on 20 and 15 meters. QSL to home call.

SOUTH ORKNEY ISLANDS. Jose, LU1ZA is usually QRV on 15 meters just after 2300z. QSL via LU4DXU.

BRAZIL, PY. PV7G is QRV from Itamaraca Island, IOTA SA-046, until December 22. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via PY7XC.

ANTARCTICA. R1ANZ is QRV from Vostok Base and has been active on 30 meters from 1800 to 2000z and 20 meters around 1300z. QSL via RU1ZC.

POLAND, SP. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the breaking of the Enigma machine code by Polish cryptographers, 12 special event stations are QRV until March 15, 2003. Look for stations with the prefixes of HF70 and SN70. QSL via operators' instructions.

KAZAKHSTAN, UN. Toly, UN6G is usually QRV on 30 meters around 0100z.

BURKINA FASO, XT. Dani, XT2ATI continues to be QRV most days on 20 meters between 2230 and 0030z. QSL via EA4YK.

CAMBODIA, XU. Jaak, ES1FB is QRV as XU7ACE until December 27 from Sihanoukville. His operations are limited, but on all bands using SSB. QSL to home call.

LAOS, XW. Champ, E21EIC is QRV as XW1IC and is usually active on 160 meters around 1500z, 30 meters from 1700 to 1900z and 20 meters around 1630z. QSL to home call.

ALBANIA, ZA. A number of operators are QRV as ZA0IS from Sazan Island, IOTA EU-161 from the Lighthouse, ARLHS ALB-004, until December 22. Activity is on all bands, using CW and SSB. QSL via IK7JWX.

ASCENSION ISLAND, ZD8. ZD8Z has been QRV on 10 meters around 1800 to 1900z. QSL via VE3HO.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The OK DX RTTY Contest, AGB Activity Party, Russian 160-Meter Contest and the Croatian CW Contest are all scheduled for this weekend.
