MAURITIUS, 3B8. Laurent, F5AEG is QRV as 3B8/homecall until August 20. Activity is on 20, 15 and 10 meters using SSB. QSL to home call.

MALTA, 9H. Jose, EA5KW will be active possibly as 9H3KW from Gozo Island, IOTA EU-023, from August 12 to 18. He plans to operate on all bands using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL to home call.

WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2. Keith, GM4YXI will be QRV as 9M2/GM4YXI from Pulau Ketam, IOTA AS-074 from August 9 to 11, and then Pulau Babi Besar, IOTA AS-046, from August 16 to 19. Activity will be on 20 to 10 meters, including 17 and 12 meters, using CW and SSB on the usual IOTA frequencies. QSL via N3SL.

CHILE, CE. Marco, CE6TBN will be active as CE6TBN/p from Mocha Island, IOTA SA-061, from August 9 to 11. QSL via N1IBM.

SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Ricardo, CE9R is active mostly on 15 and 10 meters using SSB from the Chilean Antarctic Base Presidente Eduardo Frei Montalva, on King George Island, IOTA AN-010, until September. QSL via CE3HDI.

ST. PIERRE AND MIQUELON, FP. Paul, K9OT and Peg, KB9LIE will be QRV as FP/homecalls from Miquelon, IOTA NA-032, from August 11 to 19. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL to home calls.

JAPAN, JA. Samy, JR8KJR/8 will be active from Yagishiri Island, IOTA AS-147, beginning around 0900z from August 14 to 16. Activity will be on 17, 15, 12, 10 and 6 meters using SSB and other modes. QSL to home call.

BULGARIA, LZ. Nick, LZ1NG is QRV from Sveta Anastasia Island, IOTA EU-181, until August 17. Activity is on 80 to 6 meters using SSB. QSL to home call.

POLAND, SP. In commemoration of the 9th visit of Pope John Paul II, special event station HF9JP will be QRV from August 10 to 31 from Krakow. Activity will be on 160 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL via SP9PKZ. Meanwhile, Sarek, SP6NVK will be QRV as HF6HF from August 14 to 21 on 80 to 10 meters using SSB, RTTY and PSK31. DODECANESE, SV5. Goran, SM0CMH is QRV as SV5/SM8C from Kalymnos Island, IOTA EU-001, until August 30. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters, including the newer bands, using CW. QSL to home call.

EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA. Operators from the Russian Robinson Club are active as R3RRC/1 from the Khibiny Mountains, Kola Peninsula, until August 23. QSL via operators' instructions.

BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS, VP2V. Zev, N2WKS will be QRV as VP2V/N2WKS in the Worked All Europe CW Contest. QSL to home call.

VIETNAM, XV. XV3JAA has been QRV on 6 meters around 0800z. He has also been QRV on 17 meters around 0700z. QSL via JR1JAA.

MYANMAR, XZ. XY5T will be QRV from Ngapali from August 9 to 22. XY7V will activate for the first time the island of Apaw-Ye-Kyun from August 16 to 19. QSL XY5T via IN3ZNR and XY7V via DL8KBJ.
