This week's bulletin was made possible with information

NIGER, 5U. The Italian group are now QRV as
5U1A on CW and 5U4R on SSB. They expect to be operational on 160
meters as well. QSL both calls via I2YSB.
DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, 9Q.
Jean-Philippe, 9Q1MM, Cyprien, 9Q1KS, Patrick, 9Q1A and Nicole,
9Q1YL are QRV until February 24 as 9Q0AR/6 from Goma near the
Nyiragongo volcano. QSL via F2YT.
GUADELOUPE, FG. Girts, FG/YL2KL plans to be
active on 160 to 10 meters, using mostly CW with some SSB and
RTTY, from February 13 to 20. He also plans to be in the ARRL DX
CW as either FG5BG or FG/YL8M, as a Single Op/All Band High Power
entry. QSL to home call.
SAINT MARTIN, FS. Ron, PJ7/ND5S and Sue,
PJ7/KF5LG will be QRV from February 11 to 22. Activity will be on
160 to 10 meters, using CW and RTTY, with some SSB. QSL to home
calls.
ISLE OF MAN, GD. Diemo, DL4LQM, Wolfgang,
DL4WG, Thomas, DL5LYM, Ulf, DL5AXX and Frank, DL8WAA will be
active as MD/homecalls from February 11 to 18. Activity will be
mainly on CW. QSL via operators' instructions.
SAN ANDRES AND PROVIDENCIA, HK0. John, HK0OEP
has been QRV on 80 meters around 1130z and on 15 meters around
2000z. Also, Abel, HK0VGJ, has been QRV on 12 meters around
1600z, 10 meters around 2300z and 40 meters around 0300z.
GUAM, KH2. Hide, JH8KYU is QRV as K8YU/KH2
until February 11. He plans to be a Single Op/All Band entry in
the CQ/RJ WPX RTTY contest. QSL to home call.
ST. MAARTEN, PJ7. In addition to their Saint
Martin activities, Ron, PJ7/ND5S and Sue, PJ7/KF5LG will be QRV
from Dutch St. Maarten from February 11 to 22. Activity will be
on 160 to 10 meters, using CW and RTTY, with some SSB. QSL to
home calls.
WESTERN SAHARA, S0. Six members of the
International Amateur Radio Volunteers are staying in Western
Sahara from February 11 to 17. They will be QRV as S07CRS and
S07U. In addition to using mainly CW they also intend to operate
using RTTY. QSL both calls via JA1UT.
SAO TOME, S9. LA5QKA, LA5UF, LA6EIA, LA6FJA,
LA7THA, LA7WCA, LC3EAT, LC6ZBT, SM5COP and SM5IMO are active as
S9LA until February 11 using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and PSK31 on 160
to 6 meters. QSL via LA2N.
EAST KIRIBATI, T32. La, T32Z has been QRV on
10 meters around 2000z. QSL via N7YL.
PALAU, T8. Mitsu, JH5OXF will be QRV as T88XF
using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31 on 80 to 6 meters from February 9
to 12. QSL to home call. Meanwhile, Derek, G3KHZ, Maurizio,
IZ1CRR and Nando, IT9YRE are QRV as T88SI from Sonsorol Island,
no IOTA number as yet, until February 10. Activity is on 40 to 10
meters, including the newer bands, using CW and SSB. QSL via
IT9YRE.
MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7. Jim, W7UG will be
active as V73UG from Kwajalein, IOTA OC-028, for the CQ/RJ WPX
RTTY contest and the Asia-Pacific CW Sprint. On February 11 to
15, he will concentrate on the newer bands. QSL to home call.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The CQ/RJ WW RTTY
WPX Contest, Six Club 2nd Winter Contest, Utah QSO Party/Olympics
QSO Party, Asia-Pacific CW Sprint, Dutch PACC Contest, YL-OM SSB
Contest, FISTS Winter Sprint, RSGB 1.8 MHz CW Contest, North
American CW Sprint, The Classic Exchange and the QRP ARCI
Fireside SSB Sprint will certainly keep contesters busy this
upcoming weekend.
The week of February 11 to 15 sees activity in the 15th Annual
2002 School Club Roundup. Please see January QST, page 115 for
