MALDIVES, 8Q. Roberto, EA4DX, will be QRV as 8Q7XX until September 21. Activity will be SSB only on 80 to 10 meters. Special attention will be paid to 17 and 12 meters. QSL to home call.

CHINA, BY. The IARU Region III Conference in Beijing will continue until September 13. During this conference delegates will be able to operate using the callsigns BT1ARU or BT1IARU from a special station set up in the hotel where the conference is taking place..

SAINT PAUL ISLAND, CY9. VA3RU, VA3EU and HA5IJ will be QRV as CY9DX from September 12 to 22. They will be active in the SAC and WAE contests as well. QSL via VA3RU.

SABLE ISLAND, CY0. Alex, VE3PIG, is QRV as CY0PIG until September 12. Activity is expected on 160, 20 and 15 meters using SSB. QSL to home call.

ANGOLA, D2. Look for CT4KO to be QRV as D2AI starting September 15. He will be active on 80 to 10 meters, including 24 and 18 meters, using SSB and RTTY. Some RS-12 satellite activity is expected. He will try to schedule some activity on 6 meters. QSL via CT1EGH.

THAILAND, HS. Fred, K3ZO, will be QRV using mostly CW as HS0ZAR from a club station from September 14 to October 6. Look for him on 40 to 10 meters. There will be no newer band activity. QSL to home call.

ITALY, I. Special Event Station IY1EY will be QRV on all bands, using CW, SSB and RTTY from September 20 to 28 to celebrate the radioeletric experiments made between 1919 and 1936 by Guglielmo Marconi from his ship the ''Elettra'' in the Ligurian Sea. QSL via IK1QBT

TURKEY, TA. The Telsiz Radyo Amaterleri Cemiyeti club will be QRV on all bands until September 21 as YM4WAG for the World Air Games. QSL via TA1KB.

CAMBODIA, XU. Yoh, 7L1MFS, and Hiro, JA2EZD, will be QRV as XU2C and XU2A, respectively, from September 13 to 15, using CW, SSB and RTTY. QSL to home calls.

WILLIS ISLAND, VK9W. The ODXG DXpedition has begun and operators are signing VK9WM. Look for VK9WY as well. Operations are expected to continue until September 22. QSL both calls via VK4FW.
