TUNISIA, 3V. Hrane, YT1AD, will sign 3V8BB
during the IARU HF World Championship. QSL via YT1AD.
NEPAL, 9N. Charlie, K4VUD, is active as 9N1UD
from Kathmandu. QSL to homecall.
BELARUS, EU. Igor, EU1EU, is active until
July 30 as EU930EU from Minsk. Look for CW, SSB, FM and RTTY
activity on 160 to 2 meters. QSL via LY1BA.
MONGOLIA, JT. Amateurs from the Korean DX
Club and the Korean Amateur Radio League will be active as JU4HL
from Danlanzadgad until July 13. Activity is expected using CW
and SSB on all HF bands, including the newer bands. They will
also participate in the IARU HF World Championship. QSL via
HL1CG.
MIDWAY ISLAND, KH4. Ted, NH6YK, will be QRV
until August 20 as NH4/NH6YK. Activity will depend on his work
and recreation schedule. Look for some 10 meter activity,
including 28105 khz Packet, and 50.110 Mhz CW. QSL to homecall.
FAROE ISLANDS, OY. DL1MBG plans to be active
as OY/DL1MBG until July 29. He may be active in the IARU HF World
Championship as OY6A. QSL both calls to homecall.
TURKEY, TA. YM7PA is QRV from Trabzon until
July 21. QSL via PA0TLX.
ANTARCTICA. Pavel, UX2HO, is active as EM1HO
from the Ukrainian Vernadsky Base until February 1998. QSL via
I2PJA.
VANUATU, YJ. Stuart, YJ8UU, will be QRV on 6
meters after July 19 on 50.110 MHz. 6 meter activity is scheduled
for 0630z. He will be here for three years. QSL via ZL2HE.
VENEZUELA, YV. YV3OT will be activated by a
group of Venezuelan amateurs and the Venezuela Navy in
celebration of the Navy's 30th anniversary. CW, SSB, FM, RTTY and
Packet activity on 160 to 2 meters is expected. They will be QRV
until July 13. QSL via W4SO.
CAYMAN ISLANDS, ZF. A group of South Florida
DXers will be QRV from Little Cayman Island, IOTA NA-016, until
July 15. Activity in the IARU World HF Championship is the
primary reason for this DXpedition. Look for ZF2DN, ZF2DE, ZF2PU
and ZF2JS to be active with /ZF8 callsigns. QSL via operator's
home call.
