This week's bulletin was made possible with info provided by

AUCKLAND ISLAND, ZL9. Ed, K8VIR, will be QRV
from here for five days as K8VIR/ZL9, possibly starting on April
2. Operating time will be dependent on weather conditions and his
work load. His power source is limited, so QSOs may be kept
short. QSL to Ed Hartz, PO Box 9, Te Anaw, New Zealand.
BELAU, T8. The Japan Palau Crazy Contest Club
plans to be QRV as a Multi/Single entry in the CQWW WPX SSB
Contest as T88X. They expect operations to be on 80 to 10 meters.
There is no 160 meter activity planned. QSL T88X via JE6DND.
Before the contest, look for T88JA to be active on the newer
bands. QSL T88JA via JA6BSM.
SWAZILAND, 3DA. Koji, ZS6CAX, and Tad,
JH7PKU, will be QRV as 3DA5A as a Multi/Single entry in the CQWW
WPX SSB Contest. Before and after the contest, look for 3DA/AA3JA
and 3DA0NX. QSL 3DA5A and 3DA/AA3JA to JH7FQK. QSL 3DA0NX to
ZS6CAX.
ZAIRE, 9Q. Pierre, HB9AMO, will be QRV for
two months as 9Q5BQ from Kinshasa. Look for his CW on 20 meters.
Activity on other bands is also expected. QSL to home call.
GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, HC8. Ted, HC5K, will be
active as HC8K on AMTOR, PACTOR, RTTY and SSB for about a week.
He and one other amateur will operate on 160 to 10 meters. They
also expect there to be some satellite operation. QSL to Ted
Jaramillo, PO Box DX, Cuenca, Equador, South America.
US VIRGIN ISLANDS, KP2. Rich, KF8UN, will be
QRV as KF8UN/KP2 from March 26 to April 2. He will also be
operating in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest. QSL to KF8UN.
POLAND, SP. The City of Gdansk on the Polish
Baltic Coast is celebrating its 1000 years birthday. Special
Event station HF1GD will be active until December 31, 1997. Look
for activity on all bands, including some VHF, UHF and satellite
operations. QSL via SP2BIK.
WESTERN SAHARA, S0. S0RASD will be QRV from
March 27 to 31. Operators include EA2JG, EA3CB, EA3CZM, EA3GBU,
EA4TX and S01A. They will be active using both SSB and CW, and
will participate in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest. QSL via EA2JG.
TUVALU, T2. Bernhard, DL2GAC, has been QRV as
T22MS. He expects to be here until March 30. QSL to home call.
TURKEY, TA. Thomas, DL3FDU, Felix, DL8OBC,
and Patrick, DL4VBP, will be active from Izmir from March 25 to
31. They will be QRV in the CQWW WPX SSB Contest as YM3DL. They
plan to be active outside the contest on all bands, including the
newer bands as well. There will be special emphasis given to 80,
40 and 30 meters. QSL YM3DL via DL4VBP.
ST. HELENA, ZD7. ZD7BG was heard on 14010 kHz
at 2100z. QSL to PO Box 157, St. Helena. John, ZD7WRG, was heard
on 14205 kHz at 1920z. John plans to be here until April 9.
