OMAN, A4. Tony, A45ZN, is on 160 and 80
meters four or five nights a week. While awaiting action on his
application for an experimental license for 6 meters, as well as
30 meters, he frequently monitors 50110 kHz.
ZAIRE, 9Q. Fernando, EA4BB, will be working
in Rwanguba for 1 year starting September 9, and has been issued
the call 9Q5BB. Listen for his CW and SSB. QSL via EA4BB.
FERNANDO DE NORONHA ISLAND, PY0. Erik,
SM0AGD, is active as ZY0ZGD from the QTH of PY0FF. He operates
mostly CW on HF, though occasionally shows up on RS12. QSL via
Vestagatan 27, S-195 56 Marsta, Sweden.
BAHAMAS, C6. Fred, K9VV, will be active from
Sugar Loaf Cay September 13 to 22, including the WAE SSB Contest.
MICRONESIA, V6. Tosy, JA6VZB, should be
active as V63BM until September 10. He operates SSB, CW, RTTY and
SSTV. QSL via the bureau to JA6BSM.
TUNISIA, 3V. Hans, DF2UU, and Win, DK9IP,
will operate from club station 3V8BB September 11 to 17, mainly
to work the WAE SSB Contest. They will operate before and after
the contest, primarily working North America and Asia on 160 and
80 meters. Some RTTY may be worked. QSL via the bureau to DK9IP.
TONGA, A3. Paul, A35RK, has returned to the
airwaves, mainly on 40 through 15 meter CW and RTTY.
INDIAN OCEAN DXPEDITION. Jon, EA2KL, and
Luis, EA3ELM, will be on Mauritius, 3B8, October 23 to 30.
Rodriguez Island, 3B9 is scheduled for October 31 to November 5.
And November 6 to 12 they will be on from Reunion Island, FR, as
FR/EA2KL and FR/EA3ELM. QSL via home calls.
JORDAN, JY. Bob, WB9YXY, will be visiting
friends and reactivating JY8XY October 1 to 20. He prefers CW but
does operate some SSB. Plans are to be on 80 through 10 meters.

CHRISTMAS ISLAND, VK9X. Mark, 9V1AN/JJ1TBB,
should remain active as VK9XB until September 8. Try 14180 and
21280 kHz for SSB. On CW try 7008, 14008/14028, and 21008/21028
kHz. QSL via JJ1TBB.
PIRATES COVE. Those in the know report that
station ZL7PR, operator Peter, is likely to be a pirate. This
same op has also signed ZK3YA and VR8B.
RARE ISLAND. Jim, KA3UNQ, will be on Block
Island, Rhode Island, September 12. This is IOTA NA-031. Try
around 14260 kHz between 1500 and 2000z. QSL with SASE to CBA or
via the bureau. Jim will also activate various Rhode Island and
Massachusetts islands September 14 and 15. He operates both CW
and SSB.
QSL MANAGER NEEDED. Nodir, EY8MM, reports
that Valery, UK8AQ, needs a QSL manager in Europe or the United
States. Contact EY8MM if interested.
